We are happy to announce exciting news! Starting from the autumn term of 2025, we will expand our school and open up for preschool class to year 3 (F-3).

Nordic International School Nacka is currently an excellent primary school for students in years 4-9. With this initiative, we will also offer the same safe, warm, and knowledge-centered learning environment to younger students, giving your child the best possible start to their learning journey.

Sparking curiosity and creativity

Our teaching model, characterized by academic excellence, bilingualism, and international pedagogy, is just as relevant for students starting school as it is for older students. We look forward to providing a safe and inspiring environment where our younger students can grow and develop, are supported by dedicated and professional adults who see, care for, and act in the best interest of the children. Our educators inspire and build strong relationships, both with the students and their families, through close cooperation between home and school.

The expansion to F-3 is part of our long-term plan to grow and meet the increasing demand for internationally oriented education in Nacka and the Stockholm area. With this initiative, we can offer our strong concept to students from the very beginning.

Safety, security, and order are central to our approach, where clear rules and routines, line formations, and guided movement create a safe and structured environment for all pupils. At the same time, we actively work on language development, focusing on enhancing pupils’ ability to express themselves in Swedish while also introducing them to English at an early stage, including phonics instruction.

We provide direct teaching from skilled educators who lead the pupils’ knowledge development, laying the foundation for a long-term academic journey, with a particular emphasis on literacy and numeracy. At our school, we also foster a strong sense of community through fun theme days, events, and active, playful collaboration, allowing space for creativity, physical movement, and self-expression.

Our focus on kindness and collaboration helps pupils develop their social skills, fostering happy and empathetic individuals who learn to work together and support one another.
